The City has submitted a General Plan Referral for the affordable housing development of 249 Pennsylvania Avenue in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The application comes after the city secured predevelopment and acquisition financing last year. The proposal is a joint venture by the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation and the Young Community Developers.

The proposal was filed by the property owner and office space rental agency, Expansive. If built, the project will add 250 homes and replace parking for office employees.

Vivalon and Eden Housing have opened a new senior housing and community center at 999 3rd Street in San Rafael, Marin County. The project includes 66 units of affordable housing above a medical clinic.
